I don't think meeting people should be the first selling point for online events. It's a totally different vibe than in-person trivia.
Any time I've been in a breakout room, it has been super awkward.
I would definitely mention getting together with people with the same interests, but not make that the main focus. You do a great job including everyone between the rounds with the spotlight, telling jokes (although some of them are REALLY bad...lol), and singing.
And I haven't seen anyone being negative in the chat when a person gets out of their comfort zone to do so.
Side note...another way to make the event more personal could be calling on someone to give their answer instead of everyone yelling it out.
One of the things I really enjoy is when my friends are also playing and we're laughing and messaging each other on the chat, especially that we can see each other.
So it might be worth highlighting that aspect, especially that you can have friends and family play from wherever. That might also help with referrals.
Definitely need to mention that you can cancel at any time. What is VIP Support and why would I want first priority? T
he 3rd bullet under How it Works is really confusing.
It seems like repeated information, but not as clear.
Would you consider doing more generalized trivia? My friend Teri and I have done events together (we'll both be on Bingo tomorrow, along with my friend Michelle), but she knows Supernatural and Harry Potter, and I know 80s & 90s music (although I'm going to have to brush up on Air Supply lol).
It would be fun to be able to do more events that were a little less specific.Hope that helps.
