 I will teach you how to host your own Speed FRIENDING, Friendly Feud and/or Speed Networking events and keep 80% of the sales.  I have several other event types you can learn, or you can come up with your own.  


Get clients for your existings product/service: Perhaps you are a real estate broker, life coach, nutritionist, personal trainer etc. and are looking to market  to get new business.  Here is the issue.... Nobody wants to be sold.   So how do you promote your services in a non salesey way?

The answer.... People want to do business with people they like and trust.  People they have a connection or personal realtionship with.

What the heck does this have to do with an events business???

I am glad you asked.  

As the event organizer, you are meeting people in a fun environment and automatically have social proof (you are the authority figure and are in charge).  You will begin to develop a rapport with the people who attend.  Many participants come back repeatidly which strengthens the relationship even more.  

Participants are always asking me about my business, how I got started, and what else do I do.  If I was a real estate person, life coach, etc, this would allow me to tell them about my business in a non salesy way and get great marketing leads.   I have used this exact technique to get clients for my other singles events business.

At these events, you will get to show your personality and have some fun with the attendees, with a side benefit of letting them know what other things you can offer outside of the events.

It is your own business
This will be your own small business (operated under the brand name of your choice) and I will be your coach on an ongoing basis. You will have the advantage of leveraging my proven system of running successful events.  

 

Who am I and what makes me qualified to coach you?

My name is Jay and I started organizing events in 2003.  Initially started as a hobby to expand my social circle, things shifted to where I make a full time living through organzing events.  I have organized thousands of events over the years, learned the ins and outs of what seems to work and what to stay away from, and won several awards for being the Best of Long island.  Whether you are looking to organize events part time to make a few extra bucks, looking to one day go full time, or use the events as a way to cross promote your services, I can help.  

How much does this cost, what is included, and what other details should I know?

         

$199 per month (6 month commitment) : $1,194

Pay in Full:  $799 

Training/Coaching-

8-12 Week Live Zoom Group training calls with question and answer sessions.  This will include coaching on:

  • Coming up with event ideas and facilitating events;
  • The secret sauce:  using the "speed" format;  
  • Determining costs and profitability;
  • Venue selection;
  • Ticketing systems;
  • Working with outsource labor for administrative tasks;
  • Setting ticket pricing;
  • Merchant accounts;
  • Filling the room through marketing & advertising & promotions;
  • Keyword research 
  • Search engine optimization; 
  • Customer service;
  • Newsletters;
  • Other duties related to organizing and conducting events. 

    Website (included for 12 months) - You will be provided with your own 6 page website that uses the same design as SocialEvents123.com with the same standard colors.  You have the option to change the colors  (additional fee).  The website is included in the cost for the first year.  Starting on the 13th month, it will be $50 per month.  

    *Logo design and domain registration is not included.. You will be responsible for providing me with your own logo and registering your domain.  I will show you how to do this very inexpensively.
    *Your website will be built once a minimum of $450 has been paid.

    Robust Ticketing System - I have spent 16 years customizing our ticketing system to which you will have full access.

    Website Hosting - I will be paying for website hosting.  You will be coming up with your own brand name, logo and URL to operate as.  

    Search Engine Optimization.   Your website will have its own domain name, but you will benefit with "link juice" from our Parent Websites.   

    Coaching.  After the initial 8-12 week training is completed, I will provide ongoing coaching at a maximum of 4 hours per month to ensure continued success. 

     

    Note:  This package uses the EventJer ticketing platform that charges a fee on top of the base ticket price.  This fee is passed along to the customer so it will not cost you anything.  (E.g. Ticket price is $15 plus a $1.99 ticketing fee for a total of $16.99).  You receive $15.00 and EventJer gets the $1.99.




    Other details

  • I will teach you step by step how to run your own successful social events.

  • You keep 80% of your sales.  

  • I get 20% of the gross sales (from all ticketing/sales platforms)  as an ongoing consulting fee regardless of whether you decide at some point to build/host your own website.  This is in addition to the $50 a month that is billed on the 13th month going forward for the website.


  • Exclusive territory - You will have your own territory to run events and I will not train anyone else to run these events within 35 miles of your home base.  If you fail to run an event for 3 consecutive months, that exclusive territory right will be removed and we will retain the right to train others in your area.
     
  • Non Compete and NDA must be signed.  
  • All ids-passwords for all ticketing sites must be shared.
  • For any Free/promotional event where no ticket amount is charged, a $50 flatt fee will be implemented. 
   

 

 

Other Expenses

You will have both one time an ongoing expenses and part of our consulting will be to teach you to keep those to a minimum.  Examples include but are not limited to:  Registering your business name, logo design, microphone system, name tags, paper, printing, advertising etc. 

 

Sample Event Financial breakdown 

Lets take a look at a conservative event example where you set a ticket price of $15.95 and sold 30 tickets.   

Ticket price:        $15.95
# of tickets sold:  30
------------------------------
$478.50 in Gross sales
-20% (my percentage):  -$95.70
-----------------------------------------
$382.80 is left at this point.  

From this $382.80, lets estimate that you spent $100 on expenses (advertising, nametags, paper, printing, outsource administrative).  
Your net for this one event will be  $282.80

*The above numbers are used for sample purposes only.  Your actual sales and expenses may vary greatly.  At our NYC events, we typically have 50-75 attendees for Friendly Feud and approximately 40-50 attendees for Speed Friending.  Your territory may be busier or slower than what we have in NYC. 

**REMEMBER-  The main benefit is the social proof, you are the authority and will have the opportunity to cross promote your other products/services in a non salesy type of way.
