Virtual Speed Friending

In this crazy Corona Virus world, many of us are feeling isolated and need to socialize.  I created Online Speed Friending to allow you to do just that, in a fun Corona Virus Safe environment. When I first started doing in-person speed friending events, I thought it was the stupidest idea ever!  Who would want to come to an event to make new friends when they could walk down the street or go to the bar?   Wow, was I wrong, and I am so glad that I did not listen to myself because people absolutely love it!  Now I bring it you in the online virtual world. Jay What is Online Virtual Speed Friending Are you looking to expand your social circle and make new friends/activity partners?  This is NOT a singles events.   It is meant for making new friends online at first, but then you can take your friendship into real life. With online speed friending, you will be meeting other fun people from the comfort of your home (Corona Virus safe) via your computer with Webcam or Smart Phone, Ipad or Tablet. (strong wifi connection required if using a phone). The event will take place in a Virtual Room using the Zoom program (Zoom is a free download that is super easy to use).   How exactly does it work: 1)We will take the all of the attendees and break them up Virtually into smaller groups of 3-4 people.  They will be in a private online room with just their small group and can see and hear one another.  At the beginning of the round, the host will provide an ice breaker get to know you question(s).   Participants will take turns answering the question, engaging in conversation and getting to know each other.   2) The group will stay together for about 5-10 minutes and at the end of the round, all participants will have the opportunity to exchange contact info. 3) We will then mix up the groups again and you will meet more people!   The process continues for about 75 minutes. How do I find the Virtual Room? After you purchase your ticket, you will get a confirmation appear on your screen along with the zoom link for you to use to log in.
